Professional Experience

Konstantina Zivla is a Cyprus-qualified criminal lawyer with an international practice focused on INTERPOL Red Notice removals, extradition, and cross-border criminal defence. She has represented clients before INTERPOL’s Commission for the Control of Files (CCF), Europol, and data processors such as LexisNexis and Refinitiv, achieving the deletion of unlawful records and rehabilitation of client reputations.  
As an Associate Member in Guernica 37 (London), she leads cases involving politically motivated prosecutions, GDPR-based deletion requests, and challenges to abusive extradition proceedings. She also provides strategic advice on international police cooperation frameworks, Schengen Information System (SIS) alerts, and INTERPOL misuse, ensuring compliance with human rights standards while safeguarding clients’ rights and freedoms. 

Areas of Practice

(A) INTERPOL’s CCF Submissions Access, Deletion, Revision Requests before INTERPOL’s CCF for all types of INTERPOL Notices. The Commission for the Control of INTERPOL’s Files (CCF) is an independent and impartial body tasked with overseeing INTERPOL’s processing of personal data, ensuring that all such processing complies with the Organisation’s governing rules.
(B) Political and Military Offences: My experience in handling political and military-related cases enables me to assess and challenge matters falling under Article 3 of INTERPOL’s Constitution, which prohibits the Organisation from engaging in any political, military, religious, or racial activities.
(C) LexisNexis/World-Check (LSEG, Refinitiv): Access, Correction, Deletion Requests to remove outdated or inaccurate entries from major private databases such as LexisNexis and World-Check. Such  listings can lead to serious reputational damage, frozen or closed bank accounts, travel difficulties, and automatic compliance alerts by financial institutions.
